Pipe Slope Calculator validates slopes against three major code standards: the International Plumbing Code (IPC), the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), and the National Plumbing Code of Canada (NPC). Each code has its own minimum slope requirements per pipe size.

Yes. Tap the unit toggle to switch between imperial (inches, feet, in/ft) and metric (millimetres, metres, mm/m) at any time. Calculations are performed in imperial and converted for metric display, so results are consistent regardless of which unit system you use.

The app supports 11 standard pipe sizes ranging from 1½" (DN 40) up to 15" (DN 375), covering the most common drainage pipe diameters used in residential and commercial plumbing.

When your entered slope meets or exceeds the minimum slope required by the selected plumbing code for your chosen pipe size, the app marks it as code compliant. If the slope is too shallow, the app will tell you the minimum required slope so you can adjust your installation.

The app can use your device's built-in motion sensors to measure the angle of a surface in real time. Place your phone on or against the pipe, and the app reads the tilt. Motion data is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded or transmitted. Sensor readings are approximate (±1–2° / ±0.2 in/ft), so always verify with a calibrated level before making code-compliance decisions.

Yes. Tap Save to History on a result to keep it — the app stores your 50 most recent saved calculations, and you can give each one a title. You can review past results at any time, restore one back into the calculator, and delete individual entries or the entire history whenever you like.

No. Pipe Slope Calculator is fully offline. All plumbing code data and calculations are built into the app. No account, login, or network connection is required.

Yes. All data stays entirely on your device. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising frameworks. See our privacy policy for full details.

First, make sure you're running the latest version from your app store. If the issue persists, please email us at forthemcreation@gmail.com with your device model and operating system version so we can investigate.

Open the History section and use Clear All to remove every entry, or tap Delete on an individual calculation to remove just that one (on iPhone you can also swipe left on a row). Cleared data is permanently removed from your device.
